David Gray and Animal Magnitism are on the painting commissioned by the British Horse Society to celebrate their Diamond Jubilee. They commissioned painter Nikki Moore to do a painting to capture 60 of our most eminent horses and ponies, from current and past generations, in a triptych (a set of three paintings). There will be sports horses, working horses and breeds. For more information see the BHS website.

October 2006 - AQHA-UK Championship Show at Arena UK

AQHA-UK Reining Champion

Because of the new surface at Arena UK, the Championship Reining was held at Moreton Morrell in August, rather than at the Championship Show. However, David was presented with the Go Man Go Challenge Trophy and a buckle at Arena UK for winning Champion and Reserve Champion in Reining.

Western Equestrian Society Championship Show

David is now the WES Open Reining Champion 2006. His scores were

Championship Reining - Animal Magnitism - 1st with a score of 72.5
Championship Reining - Dots Star Joe - 3rd with a score of 70.5
Open Reining - Hangten Lena - 1st with a score of 69.5
Novice Horse Reining - Animal Magnitism - 2nd with a score of 71

Daisy Gray also did really well on Buttoned. Her results are:
Youth Showmanship - 2nd
Youth Horsemanship - 2nd
Youth Pleasure - 2nd
Novice Rider Reining - 2nd
Novice Horse Pleasure - 3rd

August 2006 AQHA-UK Breed Show at Moreton Morrell

David came first on Hangten Lena with a score of 70.5 and second on Animal Magnitism with a score of 70 in the AQHA-UK Reining Championship. This means he is both the Champion and the Reserve Champion. Both of these stunning stallions are owned by Chris and Boyd Leslie of Canada, so congratulations to you both.
He also won the Senior Reining with Hangten Lena scoring 71

July 2006 - Wye Oak Performance Show Championship Qualifier

David came 1st in both the Novice Horse Reining on Animal Magnitism and 1st in the Open Reining on Animal Magnitism.

July 2006 - Garden of England International Show, Bodiam

David came 2nd in the FEI Masters Qualifier on Hangten Lena owned by Chris & Boyd Leslie. This consistent little horse can only get better and better.
He came 3rd in Novice Horse Open on Dots Star Joe owned by Hollie Storey. This stallion has just started his show career at the age of seven. They scored a 68.

World Reining Trophy - June 2006


David took 3rd place on Hangten Lena in the Ltd Open and 10th on Animal Magnitism at the World Reining Trophy 2006 at the Horse Academy, Mooselargue, France. The competition was fierce but the experience was awesome. He scored a 212.5

May 2006 - Garden of England Show


David took first place in the NRHA Open Reining on both Animal Magnitism and Hangten Lena, tying with himself. Both horses scored 70. He also took 2nd place on Buttoned in the Novice Horse Reining.
