BEST SCORE TO DATE FOR DAVID AND HANGTEN LENA
Despite his injury the day before, David rode in the NRHA Open against very fierce competition from Germany and the Netherlands, as well as Great Britain. He and Hangten Lena scored a 215 under three judges, giving him 5th place.

ANIMAL MAGNITISM RECOVERED FROM HIS FALL
On day four of the Garden of England Show, he and David came second in the NRHA Limited Open with a score of 139.5 under two judges.

DAVID AND ANIMAL MAGNITISM TOOK A TUMBLE
On the second day of the Garden of England Show, David and Animal Magnitism came a cropper when the horse slipped on a fast circle, landing on David's leg. He is very sore but he still managed to compete on days three and four of the show in spite of having to cut one of his show boots all the way down the back to get it on. He is strapped up and on the mend.

DOTS STAR JOE WON THE NRHA Intermediate Open and the NRHA Ltd Open at the West Coast Circuit Premier Show in July 2007. This beautiful palamino stallion, owned by Hollie Storey is proving to be a really consistent little horse. He started his show career relatively late but he is catching up fast.

HANGTEN LENA came second in the NRHA Open and the BR Open at the West Coast Circuit Premier Show in July 2007.

DEMO AT HORSEWORLD

David and Buttoned (owned by Chris Neeld Leslie) did another demonstraion at Horseworld on Saturday 23rd June. As well as showing the crowd their trail and reining manouvres, they also demonstrated that you don't necessarily need a bridle on a well trained horse when David took it off and did spins, side-passes and stops without it. What a super horse Buttoned is.

Major's Smokin is a Daddy.

His filly foal "Chic" was born 28th April 2007 out of Lenas Smokin Snip, who is by Spratalena Smoke. Both mother and daughter are doing really well. Click here for more on Majors Smokin (AKA Willy).

Major's Smokin wins Junior Reining

David's 5 year old stallion Major's Smokin (known to his friends as "Willy") went to the QH2000 show at Sovereign Quarter Horses in May 2007 where he won the Junior Reining.

HORSEWORLD OPEN DAY

Thousands of people turned up at Horseworld for their Open Day on Sunday 20th May. The proceedings kicked of with the Mayor opening the event, followed by demonstrations from Filton College, a dressage to music demonstration and then David riding Buttoned, where they demonstrated various trail obstacles, lead changes and the western horse doing his stuff. After that there was a team pegging demonstration.

It was so busy that there was traffic chaos and the Scurry Drivers who were due on next were stuck in the tail-back. David therefore did his second demonstration earlier than planned and stepped it up a little, showing just what a well trained western horse can do. Buttoned lapped up the attention and performed like a star, posing for photographs afterwards.

There then followed a parade with the horses from Horseworld. We were told a little history about each horse and how they came to the centre. Some of the stories were appalling, but illustrated the brilliant work that they do at Horseworld in the rehabilitation of these horses.

Finally, there was a demonstration by AD - woodcarving with chainsaws, which was very entertaining.

FILMING NOW FINISHED
